WRRRRRRY
S'been a while since my last lucid dream.
First-person pov. The earliest I can recall is being in my old elementary school, Southside. A few of my old classmates are there. We're in an indoor version of the obstacle course, all recounting our old primary school memories. "I never got the hang of this," I say after a pretty lame attempt at the standing long jump. Someone goes after me; she clears a few inches more. From there I see monkey bars and decide to try my hand. Jackie Street (I haven't seen her since middle school) is there as well as Mary L. They struggle a little with the bars -- no one living up to their childhood grace. Before I could take my turn I see Trey and Jo sitting a couple yards away and decide to join them. We talk of something unclear before a teacher enters the "gym." We scramble to grab a paper and pencil; Trey can't find either so I lend him a pencil (there was something weird about it but this part is really fuzzy). When I look up from my binder I notice that we're all in a wading-deep area of a shallow pool. This setting is very... Super Mario 64 to me but not in the colorful way you'd expect. Moreso in the level with the Loch Ness monster type thing. The walls are the same color as the floor and ceiling (which stretches fairly high) and it gives off a platformer feeling. I swim out to a door. I see my boss Nancy and we have a discussion which is unimportant. It seems as if it's Trey's and my last day at PetSmart and we both sit in Nancy's dream office. Trey sits in a chair diagonally opposite mine. Something happens and then... poof! I wake up in-dream (now from an omniscient pov) in a bed with Nancy a few feet next to me. Trey is asleep in is chair. Mind you, there is nothing sexual about this (thank all that is sacred) and the scene just comes off as a casual nap. (First-person pov.) Nancy wakes up and I pretend I'm asleep again and she laughs to herself, mumbling that since it's our last day we could take it easy. She leaves. Some black guy who I actually know in real life but can't remember now comes in and says something off-frame to my dream audience. I wake up a second time from a deeper dream sleep in my pajamas and hot and sweaty. From here out the dream is pretty lucid. I leave the room, hesitant on waking Trey, and find myself in the pool room once more, bedecked in a binkini. The Momany-Sammons family is here. Somethings happen that I have forgotten but I do remember seeing Janae. I ask her if she'd like some cereal and she enthusiastically says yes. I swim out to the side and see Kyle who empties two boxes of Raisin Bran into a bowl and walks away. I think to myself that it is far too much cereal and grab a box for Janae. I dump the entire box in the bowl, add milk, and swim back. I offer it to Janae but realize there hardly is any cereal at all. I get pulled into the water and start swimming with the rest of the family boys. Andrew (the second oldest of Sammons) latches onto my back and we kinda float around. Disgustingly to me, this is the most lucid of the entire dream. I remember both the setting and location quite vividly. I remember the heat Andrew gave off and the wetness of the water. I turn my head and see Kyle, his body somehow above water, naked. O_o No, I didn't stare, but his boyhood was kind of in my line of sight. I woke up shortly after. UGH.
Last night: broiled pork and spinach? and rice, water, milk.
[Post-Script] Similarities with IRL.
Obstacle course: I was reliving my elementary school glory days not too long ago at work and another time with Kim.
Mary L: I checked her Facebook profile yesterday. That is almost too embarrasing to note.
Trey&Jo: They asked yesterday about my plans on releasing the beach pictures from the other night.
Trey: We really are leaving PetSmart soon.
Pencil: I know this is a stretch, but I was having a time trying to find my Sharpie all day yesterday.
Momany-Sammons: I texted the whole clan yesterday.
Raisin Bran: Alex bought it yesterday.
Forgive my blankness in this post. I starting typing this at 6am. EGH.
